Lastly, we help you hire the right builder and then stay involved with construction as your advisor through the completion of the project.

During construction, we typically provide the following services:

  1. Interpret the drawings and specifications: You or the builder often have questions about the design — we are there to provide additional information when needed.
  2. Review shop drawings: We review technical submittals from entities such as window and door suppliers, floor joist manufacturers, and roof truss fabricators for conformance with the drawings and specifications.
  3. Attend on-site meetings: In addition to visiting the site periodically to check on progress, we also attend site meetings with you and your builder. We review in-place construction for conformance with the drawings and specifications and assist with resolving the inevitable issues that arise in renovations.
  4. Go through the punch list: Near the completion of your project, we will walk the entire house with you to document items that must be completed, installed, or provided before you make the final payment to the builder.
